This excursion introduces the wonderful palace and park ensemble of Pavlovsk, which was begun during the reign of the Emperor Paul I and was finished after his death. It is the last summer royal residence, which was constructed by Romanov dynasty around Saint-Petersburg.

In the halls of the palace-museum there is the richest and various collection of porcelain, faience, ceramics and glass, which has the unique pieces of the most famous manufactories of Europe and Russia. Also the palace is famous for its collection of art fabrics, which is recognized to be one of the most significant. It includes the most various items, from the refined handkerchiefs, sewed round with the finest handmade lace, to monumental tapestry.
